We like QEP Resources, Inc very much because it has performed well over the last 12 months and it’s in an industry that we love to invest in. We started accumulating this stock in July of 2010 at $34-36 per share and have not been disappointed with its performance. However, the stock has recently been downgraded by Goldman Sachs to Neutral with a price target of $49 even though Standard and Poor's has a Buy rating on the stock with a target price of $52 per share. I still like the stock especially since our clients received an Average Total Return on Investment (ROI) of 29% , but I have sold most of the position from our client portfolios. I believe that there are better opportunities elsewhere in the oil and gas industry but we might still get back into the stock in the near future.
